This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference at a senior level. The role reports directly to the Group Chief Executive and holds responsibility for shaping and growing our mental health and addiction services across the island of Ireland.

A message from Kerry Anthony, Group CEO at Inspire Wellbeing:

Thank you for your interest in the role of Group Director of Mental Health & Addiction Services.

At Inspire Wellbeing we pride ourselves in making a real and positive difference to the lives of people across the island of Ireland. Inspire Wellbeing was established in 1959 and at that time the charity was known as The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health NIAMH and was the first of its kind in the country.

Since early days our founder, Lady Margaret Wakehurst, instilled and championed principles of determination, care, support and inclusion and those are still very much at the heart of our work, more than six decades later.

Over the last 65 years the charity has grown and developed into one of the largest providers of mental health and addiction care and support, intellectual disability and autism care and support, and therapeutic and wellbeing services in the island of Ireland. Throughout the years our growth has always been guided by our values, which are embedded in everything we do, every day.

We are Inclusive: we put the people who use our services first

We are Passionate:  we believe in what we do

We are Determined:  we find a way

We are Kind:  we care about each other

We are Honest: we act with integrity

We are Innovative: we nurture new ideas

We have ambition to grow further responding to need, but also to ensure our services are modern and fit for purpose to respond to the needs of those we support. With this in mind we are seeking to appoint a Group Director who will have responsibility for the strategic development and growth of our mental health and addiction services across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, bringing innovative solutions which will protect our services and address any potential risks along the way.

This is an exciting role for an individual who is passionate about delivering a positive impact to those most in need, a senior leader who will embrace and champion our values on a daily basis.

If you have the skills and enthusiasm necessary to succeed in the role and if you embrace the spirit of making a positive difference, I would welcome your application. The successful candidate will be joining an Executive Leadership Team of professional, compassionate leaders who want to support and bring out the best in others.

Kerry Anthony, Group CEO, Inspire Wellbeing.
