Are you passionate about mental health and empowering individuals to live fuller, more connected lives? Inspire Wellbeing is looking for a compassionate, proactive, and driven Community Advocate to join our Mental Health & Addiction Services team.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges, supporting them to access the right resources, understand their rights, and build confidence in navigating support systems.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing one-to-one advocacy support to empower individuals and safeguard their rights.

  • Promoting self-help and early intervention through motivational interviewing techniques.

  • Delivering accurate signposting and information to clients, families, and carers.

  • Raising awareness of our Right Support, Right Time service across multiple platforms.

  • Building strong relationships with other professionals and services.

  • Running group information and awareness sessions.

  • Maintaining accurate, timely records and reports.

  • Supporting service development and deputising for the Service Manager when required.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in a mental health, advocacy, or support role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for supporting individuals and promoting mental wellbeing.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of local support services and mental health resources is a plus.

  • Commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and equality principles.
