🌟 Relief Project Worker – Fountainville Avenue Supported Housing

At Inspire, we believe in supporting people to live with dignity and realise their full potential. Our Fountainville service is a 24-hour supported housing setting for adults (aged 18–65) with enduring mental health challenges including schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

Here, residents live across four houses, each with their own ensuite bedroom and shared living spaces. Our approach is rooted in empathy, independence-building, and person-centred support.

What to expect in the role:

  • You’ll help people manage their daily routines, attend appointments, and participate in community life.
  • Support includes key working sessions, planning and reviewing care, and helping to maintain tenancies.
  • No two days are the same, from cinema trips and baking to supporting someone through a tough morning.
  • You’ll also manage medication, liaise with health teams, facilitate group activities, and champion wellbeing.
  • You’ll be part of a strong, values-led team culture that prioritises reflective practice and compassionate support.

Types of shifts that may become available.

  • Early: 7:45am–3:15pm ¦ Late: 2:45pm–10:15pm
  • Additional shifts: 10am–5:30pm ¦ Occasional long days (7:45am–10:15pm)
  • Sleep-in duties and occasional waking night

Why join us?

Fountainville staff often say they’re struck by the team culture, it’s warm, welcoming, and built on trust. You’ll be supported through structured induction, shadowing, team meetings and ongoing training. Our residents enjoy photography, writing, cooking, and community trips and they love a good chat. If you’re caring, emotionally intelligent, and up for a challenge that brings reward, this might be your next step.

Please note if successful at interview, the applicant will have to complete an enhanced disclosure check.

Following the interviews, a waiting list will be created for similar posts for a nine month period.
