We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to play a key leadership role in delivering innovative, impactful development across our organisation. You’ll design forward‑thinking L&D interventions, champion digital learning, and ensure our teams across Ireland have access to engaging, effective development opportunities that support exceptional service delivery.

💼 What You’ll Do

In this varied and high‑impact role, you will:

Lead & Transform L&D

Develop and deliver innovative, value‑adding L&D initiatives.
Harness technology and AI to modernise learning, improve engagement, and support dispersed teams.
Own and develop L&D policies, procedures, and practice.
Provide line management and development for the L&D team.

Partner & Influence

Work closely with managers across Inspire to identify learning needs and priorities.
Build strong, credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Deliver High‑Quality Training & Development

Develop blended learning options, including e‑Learning and digital channels.
Facilitate training steering groups, manage training schedules, and oversee organisational records.
Advise on regulatory requirements and maintain compliance.

Performance, Induction & Professional Development

Guide managers on Inspire’s performance management and supervision processes.
Lead on induction programmes and audit compliance.
Oversee professional registration processes with NISCC and CORU.

Leadership & Coaching

Provide coaching and mentoring for managers and staff.
Deliver initiatives that build digital capability and professional competence across the organisation.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience

A third‑level qualification in Health & Social Care, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Membership of a relevant professional body.
At least 4 years’ experience in:
- Introducing and embedding digital‑first learning solutions.
- Using technology such as LMS, AI, or mobile apps to enhance workforce learning.
- Delivering impactful L&D programmes aligned to organisational strategy.
- Managing a complex training programme.
- Managing a team.
- Building effective stakeholder relationships.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Competence using databases and systems to produce reporting.
Technical expertise in digital learning and AI‑enabled solutions.

Circumstances

Full driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required).
Flexibility to work across multiple locations, including evenings/weekends.
