We are seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead and deliver high‑quality, secure and reliable IT services across Inspire.


 

Role Purpose

The ICT Manager will have end‑to‑end ownership of Inspire’s IT services, ensuring they are well designed, effectively implemented, reliably operated and continually improved. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role, combining operational accountability, people leadership and service ownership.

Working closely with the Assistant Director of IT, the post‑holder will support organisational priorities and play a key role in delivering Inspire’s Digital Transformation Programme.


 

Key Responsibilities (Summary)

  • Own and manage end‑to‑end IT services, ensuring reliable, secure and high‑quality service delivery
  • Lead the IT Service Desk and oversee effective incident, request, change and problem management
  • Provide operational ownership of Microsoft 365, identity, endpoints and core IT infrastructure
  • Ensure strong cyber security controls and compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001
  • Lead IT change and projects, supporting Inspire’s Digital Transformation Programme
  • Manage IT suppliers and budgets to ensure value for money and service performance
  • Lead, develop and support a high‑performing, customer‑focused IT team
  • Maintain effective IT governance, documentation, policies and operational controls

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a senior IT or ICT management role
  • Strong operational knowledge of IT service delivery and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience leading IT teams, suppliers and service improvements
  • Strong understanding of cyber security, governance and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
