Day Service Coordinator

Location: Inspire’s Backyard Day Service, Co. Cavan
Contract: Temporary, 12 months
Salary: €44,937.24 to €53,580.29 per annum

We are looking for a confident, compassionate and organised Day Service Coordinator to join Inspire’s Backyard Day Service in Co. Cavan on a temporary 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support for adults with Intellectual Disability and Autism, and who can bring strong leadership, sound judgement and a commitment to inclusion.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight within the service, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of meaningful, rights-based care and support. You will work closely with the Service Manager, staff teams, families and relevant professionals to ensure that the people who use our services are supported to achieve their goals, take part in their community and live as independently as possible.

The role will involve leading and supporting staff, coordinating Person-Centred Plans, maintaining clear records, contributing to rosters, monitoring quality and compliance, and helping to ensure services are delivered in line with New Directions Interim Standards, human rights principles and Inspire’s values. You will also play an important part in promoting positive communication, continuous improvement and safe, effective practice across the service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU and who has at least one year’s experience in a management or supervisory role within health or social care, including staff supervision and financial management. The successful candidate will be flexible, approachable and values-led, with the ability to support colleagues, build positive relationships and keep the people who use our services at the centre of everything they do.

If you share Inspire’s commitment to being inclusive, passionate, determined, kind, honest and innovative, and you are ready to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support, we would welcome your application.

Please note: if successful at interview, the applicant will be required to complete a Garda Vetting Application.

Following the interviews, a waiting list will be created for similar posts for a nine month period.
