The Vacancy

At Inspire Wellbeing, we support people with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities and autism to live fulfilling lives. We are looking for a Cook to provide high-quality, nutritious meals within one of our schemes.

Location: Greenvale, Belfast

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

Hours: 12 per week

Greenvale is a small, welcoming residential home where 11 residents with intellectual disability and autism are supported to live as independently as possible in their own home.

We are looking for a caring, reliable and well-organised Cook who takes pride in preparing fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make mealtimes enjoyable, meaningful and person-centred for our residents. You will work independently in the kitchen, while being part of a supportive staff team and reporting to a Team Leader.

About the Role

Prepare fresh, nutritious meals that residents can look forward to each day.
Work independently, taking pride in the smooth running of the kitchen.
Plan menus around residents’ preferences, dietary needs and modified diets, following IDDSI guidance where required.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safe storage and kitchen cleanliness.
Work closely with the staff team and report to the Team Leader.
