Residential Care Home Cook Location: Greenvale Residential Home

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday on a rotational rota, including weekends.

Rate of Pay: £13.19 - £13.74 per hour

Greenvale is a small, welcoming residential home where 11 residents with intellectual disability and autism are supported to live as independently as possible in their own home. We are looking for a caring, reliable and well-organised Cook who takes pride in preparing fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make mealtimes enjoyable, meaningful and person-centred for our residents. You will work independently in the kitchen, while being part of a supportive staff team and reporting to a Team Leader.

About the Role

· Prepare fresh, nutritious meals that residents can look forward to each day.

· Work independently, taking pride in the smooth running of the kitchen.

· Plan menus around residents’ preferences, dietary needs and modified diets, following IDDSI guidance where required.

· Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safe storage and kitchen cleanliness.

· Work closely with the staff team and report to the Team Leader.
