About Climate Minds NI:
Climate Minds NI is a partnership between Live Here Love Here and Inspire Wellbeing that explores the relationship between climate action, mental wellbeing and community resilience. Through the project, 16 Climate Action Groups will be established across Northern Ireland, supporting people from underrepresented communities to co-design local climate solutions, strengthen wellbeing and take positive environmental action. Funded through The National Lottery Community Fund's Climate Action Fund, the project aims to create lasting community impact beyond the life of the programme.
Main Function
The Climate Minds NI Training Officer will be responsible for the design, co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of a framework of awareness raising sessions, workshops and training relating to climate anxiety and how it intersects with wider social, economic and health inequalities. The session delivery will take place mainly face to face with online delivery on occasion.
We are seeking a passionate and engaging Training Officer to join our Insight, Engagement & Innovation team on a 36-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by increasing awareness, understanding, and knowledge of mental health and wellbeing across communities and organisations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating a range of mental health and wellbeing awareness sessions, workshops, and training programmes. If you are an experienced facilitator with excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting mental health and wellbeing, we would love to hear from you.
