At Inspire, we believe in supporting people to live with dignity and realise their full potential. Our Fountainville service is a 24-hour supported housing setting for adults (aged 18–65) with enduring mental health challenges including schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

Here, residents live across four houses, each with their own ensuite bedroom and shared living spaces. Our approach is rooted in empathy, independence-building, and person-centred support.

What to expect in the role:

  • Provide overnight support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting wellbeing, independence and recovery through a person-centred, strengths-based approach.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with Service Users, offering emotional support, reassurance and practical assistance throughout the night.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and therapeutic environment, responding appropriately to concerns, changes in wellbeing or incidents as they arise.
  • Complete accurate records, handovers and reports, ensuring key information is communicated effectively to colleagues and relevant professionals.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider support team, upholding high standards of care, confidentiality, hygiene and professionalism at all times.

Why join us?

Fountainville staff often say they’re struck by the team culture, it’s warm, welcoming, and built on trust. You’ll be supported through structured induction, shadowing, team meetings and ongoing training. Our residents enjoy photography, writing, cooking, and community trips and they love a good chat. If you’re caring, emotionally intelligent, and up for a challenge that brings reward, this might be your next step.

Please note if successful at interview, the applicant will have to complete an enhanced disclosure check.

Following the interviews, a waiting list will be created for similar posts for a nine month period.

Inspire is committed to equality of opportunity and to selection based on merit.
