Inspire is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Peace of Mind Service Manager to lead an exciting cross-community and cross-border programme supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 10-25.
This is more than a management role. It's an opportunity to help young people build resilience, confidence and stronger social connections while leading a dedicated team delivering impactful services across Northern Ireland and the border counties. 💫
🚀 What You'll Be Doing
As our Peace of Mind Service Manager, you'll:
✅ Lead and grow a high-profile mental health and wellbeing programme
✅ Inspire, support and develop a talented team
✅ Build partnerships with schools, youth organisations, community groups and statutory services
✅ Drive participation, engagement and programme outcomes
✅ Promote the project across local, regional and cross-border networks
✅ Monitor performance, quality standards and funded targets
✅ Ensure young people's voices are at the heart of everything we do 🎤
✅ Help shape and develop a programme that delivers real impact
🎯 What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who can motivate others, build relationships and deliver results.
Essential Requirements
🎓 RQF Level 6 (Degree or equivalent) in Youth Work, Social Work, Health & Social Care, Education or a related discipline AND 3 years' relevant management experience
OR
🎓 RQF Level 5 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline AND 5 years' relevant management experience
You'll Also Have:
🌟 Leadership and people management experience
🌟 Knowledge of the youth and community sector
🌟 Experience developing outreach and engagement initiatives
🌟 Experience managing funded projects, partnerships and budgets
🌟 Understanding of trauma, social disadvantage and the challenges facing young people
🌟 Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
🚗 A full driving licence and access to a car (reasonable adjustments considered)
🌙 Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
