We are seeking a compassionate, motivated and organised Team Leader to join our team at Mulhern Close. 🌟 About the Role

As Team Leader, you will work alongside the Area Manager to support the day-to-day running of the service while leading and developing a dedicated staff team. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support, empowering the people we support to achieve their goals, maintain their wellbeing and actively participate in their community.

 

The role involves:

✅ Leading and supporting a team of staff
✅ Overseeing care and support plans
✅ Working collaboratively with families and external professionals
✅ Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive environment
✅ Supporting rota management, staff development and service compliance
✅ Taking responsibility for the service in the absence of the Area Manager and Deputy Area Manager

 

👤 About You

You will:

✅ Have at least 1 year's experience in a social care setting
✅ Be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs
✅ Have strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
✅ Hold a relevant qualification and be registered, or eligible for registration, with NISCC where applicable
✅ Be flexible to work a rota including days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and night cover

All new staff will receive full training on personal care and positive behaviour support, including how to safely use personal safety techniques in line with our organisational training.
