At Peter's Hill, we support a group of people with learning disabilities, mental health diagnoses and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives in a warm and vibrant shared setting. With thirteen single occupancy apartments, this is a service dedicated to a person-centred approach.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to provide the highest possible standards of support to service users while leading and developing services in line with organisational objectives and regional strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred support, effective service delivery, regulatory compliance and service development.
About the Role
Reporting to the Assistant Director Care and Support (Learning/Intellectual Disability & Autism), the Area Manager will act as the Registered Manager for the service, ensuring compliance with RQIA regulations and minimum standards. The post holder will efficiently manage budgets and voids, identify new opportunities for growth, secure commissioning arrangements and work autonomously with initiative.

Essential Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following qualification pathways:
AND a minimum of four years' experience working in a health or social care setting providing services to people with a learning disability, including at least two years in a relevant operational management capacity involving staff supervision and financial management.
OR
AND a minimum of five years' experience working in a health or social care setting providing services to people with a learning disability, including at least two years in a relevant operational management capacity involving staff supervision and financial management.
